Welcome to the official website of Bangladesh Itihas Samiti (Bangladesh History Association). Established in 1966 as a voluntary, non-profit and non-political organization, Bangladesh Itihas Samiti pursue the following objectives :  
                                       •    To promote study of history;
                                       •    To tighten bondage among professional and non-professional historians;
                                       •    To hold seminar and conference on historical issues and problems and
                                       •    To publish research journals and books on history.
With a view to enter into a digital era and to keeps all the data safe, the organization has launched an official website as a part of it's Golden Jubilee Celebrations.
